Receiving and Inspection
Receiving Inspection serves as the primary quality gatekeeper, ensuring that incoming materials—ranging from raw materials to components—conform to purchase orders, engineering specifications, and quality standards before entering production or material storage. This process is critical for preventing non-conforming parts from entering the manufacturing workflow. Inspections involve a thorough evaluation using a variety of calibrated and verified tools.
Testing
At Harris Assembly Group we have a full compliment of test capabilities, utilizing four computerized test stations.
-
With our test stations we can test for the following: Opens, Shorts, Continuity, Resistance Capacitance, Diodes, and Semi Automatic and Point to Point test.
-
We offer Hi-Pot, High Voltage Insulation Resistance and Resistance below 1 ohm testing.
-
We are capable of testing 2,048 test points.
-
Sensor Tester, Multi-Voltage Megameter, and Low Ohms Tester.
-
We can utilize Customer-Consigned test equipment for box builds.
-
All of our cable assemblies are tested 100%.
We typically work with our customers to develop test fixtures for electromechanical assemblies.
Calibration/Verification
Where required, measuring devices and equipment used to verify the acceptability of product to customer or internal specifications are verified by calibration/verification methods traceable to NIST or other internationally recognized standards.
